Mike Williams Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Business
Mr. Williams draws upon years of expertise in business and medical technologies in his work with Greater Concepts by DesignPLAINFIELD, IL, March 12, 2020, Mike Williams has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during
the selection process.
With many years of practiced industry experience behind him, Mr. Williams serves as the
owner and the president of Greater Concepts by Design . In his present posts, he helps
companies develop the best plans for growth and economic success. Some of their services
include: business plan development, financial analysis, P&L development, inventory
management, sales growth, sales presentation development, sales lead generation, proposal
development and training models. Greater Concepts by Design also provides access to
innovative medical technologies, including the FTM394 digital thermometer, the DX 6635,
which offers precise body temperature measurement and audio output of readings, a knee-
cooling pneumatic bandage, and the TENS 260 and ETG 255 nerve and muscle stimulation
systems.
Prior to establishing Greater Concepts by Design, Mr. Williams served as a unit controller and a director of operations for Marriott Conference Centers. Previously, he gained valuable expertise in the field as the district manager for the Midwest Division of Sodexo Corporate Services. Although his career has been filled with many highlights, he is especially proud of helping Marriott Corporation lessen their debt by converting their
conference center into a hotel. As a result, that business is still in operation today even though the decision to convert was made more than 20 years ago.
An expert in his field, Mr. Williams obtained a Bachelor of Science in finance from Indiana University in 1982. Subsequently, he earned a Master of Business Administration in finance from North Central College in 1991 before completing coursework in business education leadership in 1996. Mr. Williams later graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in educational leadership and business development from George Mason University in 2006. Additionally, Mr. Williams is a certified facilitator through DDI International, a global leadership firm for executive development and human resources. Due to his extensive expertise, he authored “Effective Supervision” and accepted the JW Marriott Award in 1995 for his professional achievements. Looking toward the future, Mr. Williams intends to enjoy his well-deserved retirement.
